Mr. Yeshayahu Weiss is a Ph.D. candidate at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel, under the supervision of Prof. Gera Weiss. His primary research revolves around Testing Reactive Systems Using Behavioural Programming, focusing on a Model Centric Approach. Mr. Weiss holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science with a thesis on Generic Algorithms and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Bar-Ilan University. With a career spanning about 40 years, Mr. Weiss has accumulated substantial industry experience. Beginning as a software engineer, he progressed to development team leader, R&D department manager, system engineer, and project manager. This diverse professional journey has given him a comprehensive understanding of software dynamics and management. Guided by Prof. Weiss and Dr. Achiya Elyasaf, Mr. Weiss remains deeply committed to advancing the field of software engineering. His research endeavors are dedicated to refining testing methodologies for reactive systems, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical implementation. By combining academic insights with extensive practical knowledge, Mr. Weiss contributes significantly to the evolution of software testing practices and the broader landscape of software engineering.
