“Agile is Dead” has become a dominating catchphrase in the Software delivery community. In recent times, criticisms of the Agile framework is gaining momentum for developers, software Engineers and other IT professionals. In addition, labelling agile as “fluffy” and by implication unnecessary, is slowly gaining popularity.This observation aligns with my experience and those of other agile practitioners in the past 5 years, evident in the termination of agile roles across the IT industry.

Through an emphasis on key takeaways for the audience, namely new and experienced agile enthusiasts. This paper will provide a tool kit and simultaneously explore the various ways in which Agile professionals and Senior Leadership Teams can tackle the challenges to effective ways of working posed by the ‘Agile scepticism trend’. This toolkit, grounded in real-world case studies, showcases innovative ways to leverage the pillars of empiricism—Transparency, Inspection, and Adaptation—to elevate end-to-end product delivery and optimise workflows for developers, software engineers, and DevOps teams.

Attendees will go-away with strategic solutions rooted in the 12 fundamental principles of the agile manifesto that quell all the noises and distractions of agile scepticism, by placing the user at the forefront of all we do.
