Mirko D’Angelo is a Senior Researcher and Project Manager in network management and automation at Ericsson. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Linnaeus University, Sweden, and a M.Sc. cum laude from University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Italy. His research interests lie in the area of autonomous and self-adaptive systems with a distinct focus on AI applied to distributed systems. Mirko has more than 25 filed patents in the area of cognitive networks and 5G advanced AI/ML procedures. He regularly serves as a committee member in top international conferences.
