I am a Senior Research Scientist at Salesforce AI Research working on building code large language models (LLMs). Specifically, I lead a series of research projects including CodeT5, CodeT5+, and CodeRL, which are foundation models for code understanding and generation. Prior to join Salesforce, I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Michael R. Lyu and Prof. Irwin King.
